What If No.7 - 18th Feb 2011
At a large Indoor event, the light went out due to a power failure in the middle of an end. The shooting hall became suddenly dark. When the light returned, the situation was that one archer had completed his end, some had one arrow left, some had two arrows left and one archer had not started his shooting. Three archers claimed that they were aiming when the light disappeared and shot in confusion. They wanted to shoot again.
How do you solve the problem(s)?

Answer to What If No.6 - 5th Aug 2009
I received a variety of answers to this one, some which I can't print others which make me wonder if there are really Judges out there.
But, first, the archers should be advised and warned. If he does it a second time, remove the problem i.e. the scope followed by a further stern warning. Finally, if the scope has re-appeared and he is doing it again, disqualify.

The following is a genuine occurance which happened at a Tournament recently. I must point out that the person involved will remain unnamed.
A rather overweight archer who uses a scope of the line whilst shooting was noticed to position the scope so that their stomach rested on the legs of the Tripod.
As a Judge, what action would you take?
I would like to see a variety of answers to this one??
It is definetly not Andy Woodger or myself.
